Neswolf Folder Locker is a user-friendly and reliable piece of software designed to help you protect important data on your computer, by enabling you to lock your directories, so no unauthorized individuals can access them without your prior permission.
The program is very easy to work with, requiring basically no previous experience with similar tools, as it only features a limited number of steps that you need to go through, which are pretty self-explanatory.
After a regular installation process, Neswolf Folder Locker can be launched from the optionally created desktop shortcut. The colorful interface allows you to enter the folder path for the directory that you wish to protect, automatically detecting its name. However, note that the utility will not be able to lock the item unless its name does not contain any spaces between words.
Subsequently, you can press on the 'Lock Folder' button, and using a command line system, it manages to lock your directory, changing its icon so as to indicated that it is currently inaccessible. Any attempt at opening it, from you or other people, will be met with unresponsiveness.
On the other hand, if you wish to unlock a previously secured directory, you will need to choose the targeted item and click on the 'Unlock Folder' button. Within moments, you will be able to access it once again and work with the files that it contains.
